This Kickstarter Project sounds more than promising: MATTER aims to bring in-depth reporting to the web. Jim Giles and Bobbie Johnson lined up a team of writers and editors who have written best-selling books and produced writing for the world’s most renowned publications, such as The New Yorker, Wired or National Geographic.

MATTER will focus on publishing a single piece of “top-tier long-form journalism” about big issues in technology and science every week. No advertisement inbetween, with a clear focus on accessability and good reading experience, MATTER sets itself the goal to put the reader in the first place again by running deep investigations and creating beautiful narratives.
